Corvid- 19
This project began in March 2020 when large parts of the world, including my world, went into lockdown due to COVID-19. I began to create a body of works. Drawing inspiration from the similarity of the names COVID and Corvid. Corvids are an extremely intelligent family of birds, encompassing Crows, Magpies, Ravens, Jays, and others. These birds’ behaviour and strong attitude illustrate my personal experience and my interpretation of the overwhelming universal realities of living through this global pandemic.
